Mr. Stueve received his B.A., M.A., and Certificate of Advanced Study from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. He has taught at the middle and secondary levels for 15 years. Following his years as a teacher he was an assistant principal at both the middle and high school levels, an elementary school principal, and a superintendent of schools. He retired from full-time employment in 2007. Following his retirement he worked in various part-time positions at the Peoria County Regional Office of Education. In the fall of 2011 he accepted the position of Director of Peoria Regional Learning Center. 

Mr. Stueve and his wife Kathy have 3 grown children and one grandchild. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, working on Excel spreadsheets, and yes, listening to the Moody Blues.

Jim Bixby is the administrator in charge of enrollment and retention. Jim graduated from Bradley University with a B.S. in seonday education and a M. A. in Guidance, Counseling and Supervision. Jim has earned an additional 75 semester hours of college credit in the curricular areas of counseling, administration, supervision, advanced curriculum, personality theory, psychological testing and measurements, college admissions and financial assistance and learning theories. Jim has served as a school principal, school counselor, director of counseling, college counselor, college instructor, college director of transfer services, college director of enrollment management and college dean of student services. Jim currently serves as the Central Illinois Coordinator of Admissions for the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. Jim has 10 years of experience working in an alternative school environment.

Ms. Alexandria Aguilera has a B.S. in Education from the University of Missouri and a M.S. in Educational Administration and Supervision from Western Illinois University. She taught P.E. and adaptive physical education for 15 years before becoming an administrator. Ms. Pointer was an assistant principal in Norwood District 63 and principal at Chillicothe Elementary Center and Junior High. She has been an RTI(Respose To Intervention) educational consultant. In addition, Ms. Pointer taught aerobics and group fitness for thirty years and was co-owner of Post & Pillar, a retail business.

Ms. Bonnie Malchow has a B.A.in English Education and a Master's degree in School Counseling from Illinois State University.  She worked as a social worker for Catholic Charities for several years and then worked 24 years as a counselor at the Academy at Illinois Central College, an alternative high school serving Peoria, Tazewell and Woodford Counties.   She is a folk singer and guitar player from way back (think Joni Mitchell….!)  and enjoys playing music with her husband who plays lead electric guitar.

Mrs. Sherry Henry received his B.A. and M.A. from Northwestern University in Evanston Illinois. He has taught at the secondary level for 38 years. He facilitated a variety of courses over the years in Mathematics, Language Arts, History and the Social Sciences. Most recently he taught History, Literature and Mathematics courses, at St. Ben's H.S. in Chicago where he was appointed Mathematics department Chairman. Mike has also been a fencing coach for over thirty years in public and private high schools as well as at the University of Chicago. He continues to pursue his diverse interests in History, Literature, Mathematics, and Fencing here at PRHS.

Mr. Friedrich is the Science teacher at PRLC.  He attended Blackburn College in Carlinville, IL to attain his B.A. in English, then attended Western Illinois University to receive his teaching certificate.  He has been teaching for about 7 years in different schools around the Tri-County area.  He is currently working on his M.A. in school administration and hopes to be a principal in the future.

Mr. Friedrich has been married to his wife Heather for 8 years and they live in Manito, Illinois with their three daughters: Addison, Isabelle and Emery.

Mr. Friedrich enjoys being with his family, golfing, farming, and playing in his band during his off time, when he finds some.

Mr. Ward received a received a B.A. in History and Secondary Education from Knox College in 1999. He was the Director of the Knox County Academy Evening Program, an alternative high school in Galesburg, Illinois, from 2003-2014 and Coordinator of the RAES Diploma program in Galesburg for ROE33 in 2015-16. From 1999 to 2003, he was a transcriber for the Lincoln Studies Center of Knox College and contributed to their editorial project on the Abraham Lincoln Papers for the Library of Congress' American Memory website.

​Mr. Wetterrauer has a B.S. in chemistry from Mississippi University for Women.  She has worked as a chemist and in a variety of other careers in the past.  This is her second year at Peoria Regional and her twelfth year teaching.  She has taught both math and science in grades 7 - 12,  in public and private schools.  

Mrs. Magill enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and rock climbing.  She also enjoys crafts, reading, and spending time with her husband.
